Millions flooded the streets in over 2,500 U.S. cities for the “No Kings” protests, denouncing what they call President Trump’s authoritarian overreach. Prominent Democrats joined the march, waving banners like “Democracy, Not Monarchy.”
But Trump fired back—literally. He posted an AI-generated video of himself flying a fighter jet labeled KING TRUMP, dropping sewage on protesters while wearing a golden crown to the tune of Danger Zone. Vice President JD Vance added fuel with a meme showing Democrats kneeling before Trump.
Public reaction was swift and furious. Critics called the video “unbelievable,” “immature,” and “a disgrace.” Trump, unfazed, joked in a Fox News preview, “They’re calling me a king. But I’m not a king.”
Meanwhile, Speaker Mike Johnson slammed the protests as “Hate America” rallies, accusing Democrats of stalling government operations for political theater.
The “No Kings” movement responded: “Instead of reopening the government or helping working Americans, he’s mocking millions who peacefully affirm that America belongs to its citizens—not its rulers.”
